Happy St. Patricks Day to all. With hours of working with the Ring folks we came to a working conclusion that we will have to manually enter our address into the ring app. We will have to put our unit number in the second address line to differentiate so each us can use the main address. This will form a group for ring to look at. I also found out today that the neighbors app has not been launched in Mexico as of now. As of right now the only way we could notify each other with alerts is for each of us to manually share. Ring suggested with common areas such as the garage, front door, pool doors, and building perimeter. We should look for a local company that can provide us with updated 1080p cameras with infrared night vision and 24 hour monitoring.

Ring looked at what I did within my condo and suggested I should put alarm contact sensors on the doors facing the ocean. Here is a list that I use in my condo, please remember that you can buy this all at once or you can piece together over time. All prices include TAX.

Alarm Door Bell Kit $340

Video Doorbell 2, 1080p motion and night vision Base Station, key pad, motion detector, range extender, Alarm contact sensor (front door) additional $39 to cover both doors facing the ocean.

Stick up cameras (battery) $356 good for indoor/outdoor Additional batteries $28.20

If you are interested in setting this up in your condo, I would like to do a single order on April 1st. I have been told that Costco might also sell this at the store level. Ring is owned by amazon and you might find them cheaper if you do please let me know so I can pass on the info. If you do find it cheaper I can help you install it.

PLEASE REMEMBER WE NEED TO INCREASE OUR INTERNET TO MAKE THIS WORK FOR ALL OF US. WITH THE BAND WIDTH NOW THIS WILL NOT WORK. THE VIDEO PORTION WILL BE WORTHLESS AND I BELIEVE THATS WHAT WE REALLY NEED.

Thanks Mark
