Building Maintenance Updates

Here is some information about the work being done around Santa Barbara.

The pool-all the new equipment has been delivered and waiting to be installed. The pool will be sanded and painted blue. The pool will also be changed over to a salt water system in hopes to reduce maintenance. The pool and spa will be separated to help lower over all costs in heating. The pool will also have a new solar cover. A second electric meter will be installed. The pool should be in service by 7/15.

Fire protection systems- Each units smoke detectors are now up and functional. The fire systems on each floor and the garage are ready to use in an emergency. More information to come when the company gives a class on use. The company will also do a monthly check and a yearly service.

Water softener-The week of July 9th-14th a complete service will be done. A monthly and yearly service will start after the service. The units will have no interruption in service. Please be aware that the water will bypass our filter and will go directly into the units. The water will be very hard and may have a different color at times.

Trash- A second dumpster will be ordered which should correct the problems we seen lately. A trash enclosure to house both dumpsters, roof and a locking gate. No date on when this will be built. Please forward ideas where it should be built.

ATT- The building is looking at updating the internet to support a program to provide security cameras and full home automation. The building is looking for more bandwidth to provide this service. Each unit will have to set up individual accounts for continued internet service.

Building Painting- will start in September. More information to come.

HOA - should be ready this summer for approval.
